A smile came to her lips as Hyperion explained
it to her, and she gave a slight shrug. “I guess
remembering one formula for something won’t
hurt.” They both knew that the subjects of math
or any science just weren’t her specialty. “Do you
remember all of this junk from when you were
in school?”

“Oh, god, no.” Peri would freely admit that she
had deleted a great many things from her mind
that she ceased needing to know as soon as she
passed her A-levels. “I mean, I could probably dig
it up if I really tried, but no.” She shook her head.
“Nooo. It was as good as gone as soon as I
graduated.”
